A slim, IP66 waterproof smart lock for front doors, flats and short lets. Unlock with your fingerprint, a code, a card, the app or the backup key, and give guests their own codes.
Manage this lock with dryn. Give each guest, tenant or contractor their own access for exactly the dates they need, and it switches off automatically when their time is up. Add or remove someone once and every lock across your properties follows. Get early access.
Does your lock need a mortise? If the product page has a Mortise option to choose from, or the description lists a mortise type, use this guide. Cylinder locks, rim locks and glass-door locks fit without one, so you can skip it for those.
The mortise is the lock body that sits inside the edge of your door. The right size depends on your door.
Each mortise has a four-digit code, for example 6085:
Single latch options have no deadbolt. They are a simple latch for interior doors, apartments and rooms where a handle and latch is enough.
| Series | Codes | Typical door |
|---|---|---|
| 50 series | 5050, 6050 | Wooden interior and apartment doors |
| 68 series | 6068 | Heavy steel security doors |
| 72 series | 5072, 5572, 6072 | European-style wooden and composite doors |
| 85 series | 2585 to 7085 | Aluminium, glass-frame, wooden and steel doors (see below) |
| Door type | Typical mortise |
|---|---|
| Narrow aluminium or glass-frame doors | 2585, 2885, 3085 |
| Medium-width frames | 3585, 4085 |
| Standard wooden and steel doors | 4585, 5085, 6085 |
| Wide door stiles | 7085 |
The top measurement on each drawing is the backset. All dimensions are in mm.

Some locks, such as our TA-KN05 smart knob, offer European mortises. These codes are written the other way round, with the series first:
Measure your existing lock as described below and match both numbers. If your door already has a 72mm or 85mm lock with the same backset, it will usually fit the existing cut-out.
Door thickness also matters. Check the "Door Thickness" range in the product description.

Delivery is free on every order, wherever you are and however much you spend.
We always aim to deliver sooner. Some delays are outside our control, but if your order is delayed we'll let you know straight away.
Where possible, we ship from a warehouse in or near your country. If an item isn't in stock locally, it will be sent from another warehouse, which may add a few days.
If our payment provider flags an order for a security check, we'll dispatch it once the payment has fully cleared. This can take up to 5 extra working days.
Orders of a single item are shipped with import duties paid, so there is nothing extra to pay on delivery. If your order contains more than one item, import duties or taxes may have to be paid by you before the parcel is released from customs, and this can delay delivery. If you plan to buy more than one item, please contact us before ordering and we'll help you check what may apply.
We use trusted national and international carriers, including Royal Mail, DHL, DPD, Evri, UPS, FedEx, PostNL and bpost, among others. You'll receive a tracking link by email once your order has been dispatched.
Every order is covered by our 100% Money Back Guarantee: return any item within 28 days of delivery for a full refund of the item price.
